



Tulsi, also called Holy Basil, has long been a highly revered herb in India. It is used for sharpening the mind, indigestion, diarrhoea, coughs, colds, fevers, headaches, rheumatism, arthritis, low libido, bronchitis, skin diseases as well as detoxification from cannabis. It is also considered a preventative against epidemics such as cholera, infuenza and malaria. Tulsi is now classed as an adaptogen, a herb which improves resistance to stress. It also has a normalising influence on blood pressure and blood sugar.

Preparation: Steep 1 tsp/cup for 5-10 minutes. Drink 2-3 times daily.
