Shatavari is an ayurvedic herb, the root of an asparagus species, is known primarily as a women's herb that can be used for increased breast milk production, nourishing the reproductive organs, strengthening female fertility, and providing nourishment to the mother and fetus during pregnancy. It has even been linked to stabilizing one's mood and emotions during the menstrual cycle. Because of Shatavari's traditional use to support the reproductive system in women it is understood in ayurveda to improve libido, lubrication, and overall sexual satisfaction.
