Matcha is a special form of finely powdered green tea from Japan and is used in their traditional tea ceremony. The leaves are shade-covered and specially processed, giving Matcha higher levels of chlorophyll, antioxidants (including EGCg) and theanine than regular green tea. It is used to boost energy and con-centration, aid detoxification and weight loss, boost metabolism, calm the mind, relax the body
and enhance mood.

Preparation: Whisk 1-2 tsp of matcha with 60ml hot water until frothy and enjoy as is , or add hot milk for a matcha latté. Add to smoothies, desserts, etc.
