One of the most revered herbs for the prevention of heart and circulatory disorders, Hawthorn Berry has a normalising action on the heart, either stimulating or depressing its activity, as needed. It is helpful in overcoming high blood pressure, arteriosclerosis and angina, and was traditionally used as an astringent for sore throats and as a diuretic for kidney issues. Hawthorn is also used to regenerate tissue after heart attacks. Used in Chinese Medicine for sluggish digestion.
