Content: Slippery Elm, Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel and Rhubarb Root.
Preparation: 1 tsp per cup, simmer covered for 10 minutes. Drink 3 times daily as a tonic.
To make 2 litres:
- Mix 20g (2 tablespoons) with 2 litres of pure spring water. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep covered during this process.
- Remove from heat, keep covered and let stand for 4 hours to increase potency.
- Bring to a boil again and then reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep covered during this process.
- Remove from heat. Pour the tea into a clean tall narrow container, refigerate and let stand overnight to increase potency. A small amount of sediment may be present in the final brew. Keep refrigerated.
It is sugessted to start drinking small amounts and gradually increasing the serving size each day.
