Kava is native to the Pacific Islands, where it has been used for thousands of years as a ceremonial and social beverage. The effects may include feelings of sedation, euphoria, reduced anxiety, muscle relaxation, reduced pain & drowsiness. It is generally accepted that Kava is non-addictive and non habit forming.
Content: Kava (Piper methysticum)
Preparation: Use up to 3-4 Tablespoons per person. Place Kava inside a cloth bag in a bowl, add 600 ml of warm water. Steep for 5 mins, then mix with your hands for 5 mins. Squeeze remaining liquid from bag and set aside (re-brew it later). Alternatively, blend Kava with water for 1-2 minutes, then strain through muslin or cheesecloth. Enjoy!
